    ...but when I try to view them, it says "You do not have any conversations." There's a little '4' next to it in the navigation at the top. 

    Anyone else having this problem? Been going on for a month or so now. Using Chrome and I've had this open in Opera as well.

    I suspect that you have been the victim of a spammer who also spammed me, but who I was able to decline as a member. Although their messages were removed when their membership was declined, it didn't seem to reset the count as I had the same thing too. 

    @LabiaLover has now removed a loophole that allowed an applying member to send messages before they had been accepted as full members, so hopefully this won't happen again.

    @PaulMApphart is correct.

    I have modified the code, so that the count will reset automatically once you receive a new message.

    Unfortunately, until you actually receive a new message though, the count will stay the same.
